Self-Pay
If bariatric surgery is not covered by your medical insurance, we offer the option to self-pay for the procedure.
During the intake appointment, we will discuss the costs in detail with you.
Our fee includes: *
- Hospital/Facility fees
- Anesthesiology services
- Surgeon/Procedure fees
- Nutritionist services
- Exercise program established by physical therapists
- Support group access
* Our prices do not include the initial intake appointment, pre-screening, and diagnostic testing fees.
Medical Insurance
Some insurance programs will cover the costs of bariatric surgery. The best way to determine what your insurance will cover is to contact your medical insurance provider directly.
IMPORTANT INSURANCE INFORMATION AND DISCLAIMER: Before our center can schedule you for surgery, it’s important for you to understand your insurance coverage. Not all insurance providers will cover the costs of this procedure and some may require more then one section of documentation to approve the claim.
Please contact your insurance provider to gain a clear understanding of coverage. If you are uncertain if you meet the criteria for insurance approval, our insurance coordinator is available to help you through the application process.
Please note, clients are responsible for meeting the criteria required by their insurance company.
Financing
If your insurance provider does not cover some, or all, of the weight loss procedure, there are financing options available for Puget Sound Surgical Center clients.
Some of the options available for financing include, but are not limited to, bank union loans, equity line of credit, income tax, or retirement fund borrowing. There are also financing companies available that specialize in medical procedures to assist you.
